🚆🗳️Das Ergebnis zur Semesterticket Urwahl steht fest. Die Wahl fand vom 20. bis 24.11.2023 statt wahlberechtigt waren 37.694 Studierende davon haben abgestimmt 4.623.
Somit lag die Wahlbeteiligung bei 12,26 %.
Als AStA möchten wir uns für das große Interesse an der Wahl bedanken und auch für den persönlichen Austausch an unseren Info Ständen. Wir hoffen, dass wir diese Wahlbeteiligung bei zukünftigen Wahlen erneut erreichen können. 🙌🏽
❗️Nichtsdestotrotz wurde das nötige Quorum von 20 % entweder für oder gegen die Kündigung nicht erreicht. Das heißt, dass die Wahl nur empfehlend für den Asta und das Studierenparlament ist, jedoch nicht bindend.
🏛️ Die Wahl und die große Beteiligung haben nochmal verdeutlicht, wie wichtig das Thema für uns Studierende ist und wir werden uns weiterhin für euch einsetzen! In den nächsten Sitzungen am Dienstag, 28.11. (AStA) und Donnerstag 30.11. (StuPa)
werden wir unsere weiteren Entscheidungen besprechen und beraten, wie wir mit dem Ergebnis und der Situation umgehen werden.
ℹ️Außerdem hat uns heute die Nachricht erreicht, dass sich Bundesrat- und Bundesregierung auf ein Vollsolidarmodell für das Semesterticket geeinigt haben, mit der Studierende für 29,40€ im Monat das Deutschlandticket verpflichtend, wie das bisherige Semesterticket, erhalten.

🚆🗳️The results of the semester ticket primary election are in. The election took place from 20 to 24.11.2023. 37,694 students were eligible to vote, of which 4,623 voted.
The voter turnout was therefore 12.26%.
As AStA, we would like to thank you for the great interest in the election and also for the personal exchange at our information stands. We hope that we can achieve this turnout again in future elections. 🙌🏽
❗️However, the necessary quorum of 20 % either for or against the termination was not reached. This means that the vote is only recommendatory for the Asta and the Student Parliament, but not binding.
🏛️ The election and the high participation have showed again, how important the topic is and we will continue fighting for a fair and payable ticket for you all! In at the next meetings on Tuesday, 28.11. (AStA) and Thursday 30.11. (StuPa)

ℹ️Furthermore We received the news today that the Bundesrat and the federal government have agreed on a full solidarity model for the semester ticket, which will allow students to receive the Deutschlandticket, mandatory like the Semesterticket right now, for €29.40 per month.

Here you have the chance to vote next week from 20.11 – 24.11.2023 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Think of your student ID card or your ID card and study certificate.
Take your fellow students with you to the election and vote together on the future of the semester ticket!
📨Briefwahl
Wahlberechtigte können ihr Wahlrecht auch durch Briefwahl ausüben. Die Briefwahl muss bis zum 15.11.2023 beim Wahlausschuss persönlich oder schriftlich beantragt werden (wahlausschuss@stupa-due.org). Hierbei muss der Antragsstellende fol- gende Daten angeben: Vorname, Nachname, Matrikel-Nummer und eine Adresse, an welche die Unterlagen zur Briefwahl geschickt werden sollen. Bei Antragstellung per Mail ist zwingend eine Universitäts-Mail Adresse zu verwenden.
🗳️Die Stimmabgabe ist rechtzeitig erfolgt, wenn der Wahlbrief dem Wahlausschuss bis zum Ende der Wahl am 24.11.2023 um spätestens 16.00 Uhr zugegangen ist.

📨Postal voting
Eligible voters can also exercise their right to vote by postal vote. Postal voting must be applied for in person or in writing to the election committee by 15.11.2023 (wahlausschuss@stupa-due.org). The applicant must provide the following data: First name, surname, matriculation number and an address to which the postal voting documents should be sent. When applying by e-mail, a university e-mail address must be used.
🗳️Votes have been cast on time if the election committee has received the election letter by the end of the election on 24.11.2023 at 4 p.m. at the latest.
